Книга посвящена влиянию оккультизма на искусство ХХ и XXI столетий и состоит из двух разделов: первый включает в себя тексты о жизни и творческих методах художников, посвятивших свою жизнь эзотерическим и оккультным течениям; второй раздел является хрониками изгнания русских художников-мистиков в годы сталинского террора. Структура книги основана на материале выставки «"Мы храним наши белые сны". Другой Восток и сверхчувственное познание в русском искусстве. 1905-1969».

The book is devoted to the influence of the occult on the art of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries and consists of two sections: the first includes texts about the life and creative methods of artists who devoted their lives to esoteric and occult movements; the second section is chronicles the exile of Russian mystical artists during the years of Stalinist terror. The structure of the book is based on the material of the exhibition "We keep our white dreams. The Other East and supersensible knowledge in Russian art. 1905-1969".
